English language communication identified as key requirement by corporates: MeritTrac
NEW DELHI: MeritTrac Services, a testing and assessment company has launched an employability enhancement program, AceTrac, as targeting the stagnant employability quotient of the graduates
The programme will assess candidates from universities on employability skills at regular intervals during graduation. The tests will provide developmental inputs and detailed feedback to students by benchmarking them against the industry hiring standards.
Over last 17 years, MeritTrac has administered about 20 million pre-recruitment assessments for over 300 organisations in India.
The company will allow academic institutions to design personalised, long term training interventions for their students early in their graduation, which is a departure from the current practices.
Gopal Devanahalli, CEO, MeritTrac Services said, “We think AceTrac will complement India’s skill building initiatives by systematically enhancing job-readiness of candidates thereby making them gainfully employable.”
The programme is a three-stage one comprising of diagnostic, review and final employability assessments.
